A hot date with my crochet hook

It's border time!

This beautiful pile of multicoloured crocheted circles has been admired for long enough. It's time to turn this hot mess into a blanket once and for all. I'm planning on spending all of my free time this weekend curled up on the sofa with my crochet hook and this stack of circles.

For more mouth watering circle happiness, see this blog post.

  2. In general I am not fond of crochet at all, but it is so much more appealing with your gorgeous yarn!

  3. Oh, love those circles! Are you crocheting the rounds to make them square, and then crocheting them together, or some other joining method?

It's not the joining that gets me, it's the ends weaving ...

  4. I love your stack of circles, it looks so pretty! But don't you hate sewing them all together? That's the part I can't stand, but I love patterns like this. Sometimes my mom is nice and does the sewing for me.

  5. I've been having a hot date with my crochet hook for a while now... amazingly enough, I'm working on the same exact project AND LOVING IT! I'm on my 64th circle and will turn them into squares this weekend. Yes, the joining part feels daunting but I'm up for the challenge. Can't wait to see your final FO!

  6. Is that what granny squares look like in the making!?.. Hmm... I might have to explore that! There is a skirt I bought that has a hand made waist band that I've figured out is simply granny squares. It's something I want to tackle and recreate!
